My Story

Reading Operatic Society is an amateur society that performs a variety of musical and variety performances across Berkshire and South Oxfordshire. Whilst our performers do it for the love, the professionals who enable us to entertain audiences night after night do it for the love and to get paid for their valuable time and skill.

Without them, there is no show. To continue to perform, we need the incredibly talented theatre workers to be there when we can return to the stage.

With thanks to the ROS audiences who traditionally support us in person, we want to contribute to the effort to support theatre workers who are in need of urgent and critical financial support due to the devastating impact of Covid-19 on the theatre sector.
